Uthal Garland Walser, 98, of Hamilton, died March 25, 2009 in Hamilton. Graveside services were held on March 26, 2009 in the Hurst Ranch Cemetery with Wallace Pierce officiating. Burial was held immediately following the services.
Mr. Walser was born September 23, 1910 in Anson, the son of Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Calvin and Jenny Brian Walser. He was married to Laura Gladys Poe in Moline on Oct. 11, 1931. He worked for many years as a rancher and was an ordained minister and he officiated at several area churches for many years. Mr. Walser was a Baptist.
Survivors include three daughters, Marva Jean Millsap and her husband Lee, Jocelyn Marie Terral and her husband Joe V. and Wilma Jeannette Walser; a son, Darel Walser, nine grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 14 great-great grand children, three great-great-great grandchildren, a niece, and a nephew.
