Many friends through-out this section regretted to hear Wednesday of the death of that estimable christian lady, Mrs. Kit Stapleton, which occurred at Borden after a long illness.
Mrs. Stapleton had been a resident of this section for many years, practically all her entire life having been spent within the confines of Colorado County. Through-out her entire life she was noted for her charitableness of heart, her thoughfulness and solicitude for those about her, ministration to the sick and needy and we are not exaggerating when we say no one never had a better neighbor.
She leaves an aged husband and several sons and daughters, all grown, to whom our heartfelt sympathy is extended.
The funeral took place at the Borden Cemetery.
