GOLDTHWAITE--Funeral for John Fisher Wigley, 72, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Center City Methodist Church with Rev. E. C. Young, Rev. Tom Mitchell and Rev. Albert Peterson officiating.
Burial will be in Oak View Cemetery at Mullin with arrangements by Wilkins Funeral Home of Goldthwaite.
Mr. Wigley died at 2:55 a.m. Sunday in a Goldthwaite hospital. He was a retired farmer and rancher and was a member of the Methodist church.
Born April 19, 1897 at Mullin, he married Effie Mae Askew July 2, 1020 at Zephyr.
Surviors include his wife; two sons, John, Tulsa, Okla.; and Jimmy, Goldthwaite; three daughters, Mrs. Cleta Fae Duren, Goldthwaite, Mrs. Mariam June Scruggs, Dallas, and Mrs. Joyce Marie Bell, Santa Barbara, Calif.; one brother, Walker Wigley, Evant; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Weathers, Goldthwaite; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
