Eunice Frame

  General Notes:

GOLDTHWAITE - Mrs. Eunice Frame Sutherland, 100 years, 9 months and 12 days old, passed away Monday, Feb. 10, 2003, in a Goldthwaite nursing home. She was born and raised in Medina on April 28, 1902, to Will and Mary Amilia (Chisum) Frame. She married Joe Sutherland in Medina on May 31, 1920. He preceded her in death Oct. 7, 1970. Eunice was a resident of Goldthwaite for eight years. Prior to moving to Goldthwaite, she was a resident of Kerrville. She was a homemaker and a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints. Survivors include her son, John H. "Shorty" Sutherland and wife, Norma Jean; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Sutherland; three daughters, Evelyn Sutherland, Aileen Smith and Gladys DuBose; one son, Shelton Sutherland; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at Grimes Funeral Chapels, with Mr. Ron Briley officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapels of Kerrville.

Eunice married Joe Sutherland, son of Ellis Robert Sutherland and Claudia Patterson Smith, on 31 May 1920 in Medina, Bandera County, Texas. (Joe Sutherland was born on 26 Mar 1895, died on 7 Oct 1970 and was buried in West Prong Cemetery, Medina, Bandera County, Texas.)
