GOLDTHWAITE — Donald Padgett, 76, died Monday, March 23, 2015 at his home in Goldthwaite.
He was born March 5, 1939 in Big Valley to R.T. Padgett and Annie Bell Long Padgett. He married Joe Ann Combs on April 19, 1958 in Goldthwaite. He worked as a florist and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Joe Ann Padgett of Goldthwaite; son, Carson and wife Janette Padgett of Goldthwaite; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ann Carey of Goldthwaite and Patty Sutherland and husband Gary of Goldthwaite.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Padgett; a nephew; and a brother-in-law.
