Benny Rex McCarrell
Benny Rex McCarrell, 57, of Quitman died Friday, Nov. 30 in Quitman Hospital.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, in St. Dunston Episcopal Church in Mineola with the Rev. R.E. McCrary officiating. Asmussen-Lowe Funeral Home of Quitman will make burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Mr. McCarrell was born July 8 1933 , in Ben Franklin. He was a member of the St. Dunston Episcopal Church and moved to Quitman from Dallas two years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Pat; a son, Michael Wayne McCarrell of Austin; two daughters, Becky Lynn Teague of Irving and Debra Jean Nichols of Corpus Christi; a stepson, Rocky Cagle of Bryan; two stepdaughters, Susi Duckworth and Kristy Copher, borth of North Carolina; Two brothers, Max McCarrell of Pottsboro and Jack McCarrell of Kansas; a sister, Mary Dixon of Amarillo and five grandchildren. 1
Benny married Janis Loleet Holmes.
