George "Pete" William Calvert

Pete Calvert, 91, of Grandview, Texas passed away April 1, 2020 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born to Grace (Heine) and Virgil Calvert on July 29, 1928 in Cleburne, Texas.
Pete married Mary Gregory Israel on November 23, 1980 in Cleburne. He served his country proudly with the signal corps in the United States Army during the Korean War. Pete was retired from the Santa Fe Railroad. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, and two sons, Wayne Calvert and Kelly W. Israel. Survived by his wife of 39 years, Mary Calvert, daughters, Terri Herridge, Suzanne Jeffcoat, Teresa Israel and Sherri Israel, sons, Ronnie Calvert and Dwight Israel, numerous grand children, great grand children and great-great grand children; brother, Tucson Calvert, sister, Margaret Spoon and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be conducted April 7, 2020 at Greenacres Memorial Park in Cleburne. No visitation is scheduled...RosserFH
