Elaine Covington, age 69 of Goldthwaite, TX passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2020 in Temple, TX. A celebration of life service will be Friday, August 14, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. at the Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery Pavilion. Safe social distancing and masks will be required.

Elaine Covington, 69, of Goldthwaite, passed away Aug. 11, 2020, at Temple, Texas.
Born Feb. 27, 1951, she was a daughter of Everett N. Taylor and Donallene Smith. She married Mike Covington.
She lived in Goldthwaite all of her life, and was a member of the Church of Christ. She was an office manager at Schusters.
Surviving are her husband, Mike Covington of Goldthwaite; her children and spouses, Tammy Perry & Scott of Goldthwaite, and Sammy Covington & Landy of China Spring, Texas; her grandchildren, Bailey Perry, Dakota Perry & Mayra, Prystyn Covington, and Peighton Covington; her great-grandchildren, Bently Perry, Raiden Perry, and Oaklynn Perry; her brother and spouse, Buster Taylor & Dynette of Goldthwaite; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett N. Taylor and Donallene Smith Taylor.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, 2020, at the Goldthwaite Memorial Pavilion, with William Eudy and Dayton House officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home, Goldthwaite.
Elaine married Mike Covington, son of Jerry Dean Covington and Anna Merle Epperson.
