Goldthwiate--Services for Thelma Spinks, 76, of Goldthwaite will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Wilkins Funeral Home. The Rev. Doug Holtzclaw and Roland Fry will officiate. Burial will be in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Spinks died at 1:35 p.m. Wednesday at Childress General Hospital.
Born Dec. 7, 1905 in Mills County, she married Marvin Spinks Oct. 4, 1924. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Maxine Neishel of Goldthwaite; and numberous nieces and nephews.
Clarice married Marvin Lee Spinks, son of Joseph Monroe Spinks and Mauda Mae Davis, on 4 Oct 1924. (Marvin Lee Spinks was born on 10 Jun 1905 in , Mills County, Texas and died in 1996.)
