GOLDTHWAITE - Shirley Evelyn Shipman Runnels, 64, of Mullin died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, at her residence. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Duren Cemetery in Mills County.
Survivors include her husband, Howard Runnels of Mullin; children Robert Craig of Burnet, Sheri L. Minard of Mullin, Christina Hurst of Goldthwaite, James Runnels of Dublin and Karen Holt of Fredericksburg; and sister Nita Frazier of Mullin.
Shirley married Howard Dwain Runnels, son of William Alton Runnels and Maize Christine Pyburn, on 3 Jun 1964. (Howard Dwain Runnels was born on 11 Nov 1932 in Priddy, Mills County, Texas, died on 22 Feb 2016 in Temple, Bell County, Texas and was buried in Duren Cemetery, Mullin, Mills County, Texas.)
