Charlene Tiemann
Charlene Tiemann of Priddy, Texas passed away January 21, 2018 in Goldthwiate, Texas. She was 86 years old.

Mrs. Tiemann was born March 12, 1931 at Caradan, Texas as the daughter of Herbert and Annie (Janner) Drueckhammer.

She was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church Priddy and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church Priddy.

Charlene married Howard Wayner of Priddy, Texas on January 26, 1951 and is survived by a son Jeffrey Wagner and wife Lesley of Mt. Vernon, Texas and daughter Julie Dunn and husband Peter of Poth, Texas.

She divorced in 1979 and remarried J.C. Tiemann on July 25 in 1987, in Priddy, and remained married until his death in 2012. Five stepchildren from that union survive her. Lee Wayne Tiemann and wife Karen of Priddy, J.C. Tiemann Jr. and wife Debbie of Priddy, Rose Marie Stephens of Goldthwaite, Travis Tiemann of Priddy, and Naidene Ripley and husband Randy of Gustine.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Amanda Shyebem of Plano, Savannah and Cody Wagner of Mt. Vernon, Tara and Heath Dunn of Poth, Jessica Gutierrez, Justin Tiemann, Mikayla Moreland, and Ben Tiemann of Priddy; Braden Tiemann, Terra Gardner, and Taylor Stephens of Goldthwaite, and Rachel Ripley of Gustine; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Annie Drueckhammer and her husband J.C. Tiemann.

She retired from the Texas Department of Public Safety in Austin. She enjoyed her retirement in Priddy as a housewife, mother, and grandmother.

She was involved in the community and an active member of Priddy Zion Lutheran Church, American Legion Auxiliary and a lifetime member of the PTA. ¹

Charlene married Howard Wagner.

Charlene next married J. C. Tiemann on 25 Jul 1987 in Priddy, Mills County, Texas. (J. C. Tiemann died in 2012.)
