GOLDTHWAITE ~ Funeral services for Gene Earl Auldridge, 56, of Goldthwaite, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1 at First Baptist Church with Stewart Farrell, Doug Holtzclaw, and Terry Jackson officiating.
Burial will be in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Auldridge died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2003, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
Mr. Auldridge was born July 27, 1946, in Brownwood, to Levi Truett Auldridge and Verba Lee Byrd. He married Vivian Cunningham on March 6, 1976, in Copperas Cove. He was owner and operator of Auldridge Building Center, Inc. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Auldridge of Goldthwaite; three daughters, Laurel and husband, Jimmy, Jones of Goldthwaite, Vanessa Auldridge of Lubbock and Jaclyn Auldridge of Austin; two sons, Dennis and wife, Michelle, Auldridge of Plano and J. T. Auldridge and fiancee, Carrie Epperly of Ft. Worth; four grandchildren; father, Truett Auldridge of Goldthwaite; two brothers, Phil and wife, Dorothy, Auldridge of Hawaii and Ronnie and wife, Shirley, Auldridge of Goldthwaite; sister, Lee Ann Auldridge of Brownwood; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Gene married Vivian Cunningham.
