David Wiedebusch
David Wiedebusch, 72, of Goldthwaite, Texas, passed away Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020, at his home.
Born June 19, 1948, in San Angelo, he was a son of Victor Wiedebusch and Vivian Koen.
He married Linda Diane Thurber on Sept. 28, 1968, at Mount Olive in Mills County, Texas.
He was a senior master mechanic and worked at the Ford House for 45 years. He was a "jack of all trades."
He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Mills County.
Surviving are his children and spouses, Lora Slaughter & Chuck of Goldthwaite, Deborah Snyder & Kenneth of Gatesville, Paul Wiedebusch & Angie of Goldthwaite, and Russell Wiedebusch & Jamie of Goldthwaite; his grandchildren, Marli Johnson & Tim, Sara Slaughter, Shyla Kox & John, Kelsey Cole & Levi, Vanessa Dowdy & Ben, Seth Snyder & Teryn, Shay Snyder, Landon Wiedebusch, Daylin Wiedebusch, Rylan Wiedebusch, Casen Wiedebusch, Alton Wiedebusch, Trustyn Wiedebusch, and Keithan Wiedebusch; 11 great-grandchildren; adopted daughter and spouse, Angel Reynolds & Tony of Goldthwaite; adopted grandchildren, Scott Reynolds, Shawn Reynolds, Sierra Reynolds; his brothers and spouses, Vernon Wiedebusch & Kathy of Bangs, and Gary Wiedebusch & Ann of Goldthwaite; his sister, Christine Wiedebusch of Goldthwaite; numerous nieces and nephews; stepdaughter and spouse, Elizabeth Doud & Tim of Early; and step-grandchildren, Blythe Ripley and Vance Ripley.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Wiedebusch in 1999; his parents, Victor Wiedebusch & Vivian Koen Wiedebusch; his siblings, Vicky Ray Wiedebusch, Guy Wiedebusch, Darrell Wiedebusch & Debbra Wiedebusch.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 23, at Caradan Cemetery in Mills County, with Butch Foster officiating. Interment followed at Caradan Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Carl Wiedebusch, Wade Wiedebusch, Rex Wiedebusch, Chancy Wiedebusch, Kevin Wiedebusch, Mark Wiedebusch, Steven McNair and John McNair.
Arrangements were under the direction of Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home in Goldthwaite. 2
