Robbie Robertson
Robbie Robertson passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at Goldhwait, Texas, at age 91. She was born February 7, 1930 in Mills County, Texas, to Lewis Covington and Olive Collier. She married J.D. "Bud" Robertson on November 27, 1947 in Moline, Texas. She lived in Mills County all her life, and was a member of Center City Baptist Church. She was also a veterans service officer and a school bus driver.

She is survived by her daughter Joyce Cornelius & Jim, Early, TX, her grandchildren, Juliane Sullivan & Chris, Early, TX, Jimmie Travis & Blake, Richardson, TX, Many Polk Santa Anna, TX, and Karl Smetana & Dustan, Miles, TX, her great grandchildren Jenna Lee Perry, Jesse Perry, Jacob Perry, Colt Smetana, Kimber Smetana, Hayes Smetana, Savannah Travis, Kellen Travis, her great great grandchild Hayden Diehl, here sister-in-law Frances Covington, Benbrook, TX, several nieces & nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents, Lerwis Covington & Olive Coller Robertson, her husband, J.D. (Bud) Robertson Jr. (September 25, 1981), her daughter Betty Ann Reyes, her siblings, L.C. Covington, Lorene Armstrong, Ima V. Hairston & Lynn Covington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mills County Senior Center & Center City Baptist Church. ¹

Robbie married James Douglas Robertson Jr, son of James Douglas Robertson Sr and Altha Lee Brown, on 27 Nov 1947 in Moline, Mills County, Texas. (James Douglas Robertson Jr was born on 30 Aug 1923 in Goldthwaite, Mills County, Texas, died on 25 Sep 1981 in Goldthwaite, Mills County, Texas and was buried in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery, Goldthwaite, Mills County, Texas.)
