Oleta (Horton) Collier was born on September 24, 1919 in the Caradan Community in Mills County, Texas to John Raymond and Bertie (Huckabee) Horton. She was an excellent cook and loved to help people who were in need of cooking lessons or just help period. She was married to her husband, Glynn, for 60 years and was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Goldthwaite for many years. They had two children, Tommy Ray Collier and Glenda Kay (Collier) Lindsey. She is survived by her husband, her children, her grandchildren, Marcus Laramie Lindsey and Jessica Glynn Lindsey; one great grandchild, Landree Lindsey, and one niece, Virginia Crawford.
