Richard Dean Collier, 76, of Odessa, passed away April 30, 2012 at Regency Hospital.
He was born July 10, 1935 to Archie and Gladie Collier in Goldthwaite, Texas.
He was a rural letter carrier for 29 years.
He was a Korean War veteran service with the Air force as a B29 and B50 mechanic.
He met and married the love of his life, Kathryn on January 11, 1997.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Timothy Collier and a grandson, Ronnie Meroney.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Kathryn Collier; daughter, Melissa Drury and husband John of Phoenix, AZ.; step-daughters, Sarah Kasky and husband Cliff of Hillman, MI., Janice Rodriguez and husband Robert of Midland; step-sons, Bobby Meroney of Odessa and Carl Meroney and wife Melinda of Odessa; brothers, Jerry Collier and wife Elaine of Abilene and Millard Collier and wife Bonez of Cleburne, TX.; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2012, at Frank W. Wilson Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Miller officiating.

(Janet Catherine Sickles was born on 8 Apr 1936 in Winfield, Cowley County, Kansas, died on 21 Apr 1996 in Midland, Midland County, Texas and was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Midland, Midland County, Texas.)
