OBITUARY:
"Mrs. Texanna Starr passed away Feb. 20, 1949 at her home in Big Valley. Funeral services were conducted February 21, 1949 at 4:00 p.m. in Pleasant Grove Church with Rev. R. M. Hocker, Pastor of the Nazarene Church of Goldthwaite in charge of the services. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetary. Mrs. Starr was born May 2, 1862 making her 86 years, 11 months, 20 days of age at the time of her death. She was a native of Texas. At the age of 36 she united with the Methodist Church of which she was a member at the time of her death. (Rita Starr)" 2
