CARLTON W. "BILL" TEMPLETON, 77, was reunited with Novilla, his wife of 54 years on July 10, 2009. Burial was in Macedonia Cemetery.

Bill was born on April 4, 1932 in La Casa Community in Stephens County to Audie and Oral Lois (Raney) Templeton, and he attended school in Caddo and Frankell until they closed and then he finished school graduating from Breckenridge High School, and attended Ranger Junior College. Bill loved La Casa Community and spent many hours traveling the country side where he grew up. Bill married Novilla Edwards on April 17, 1955 in Eastland, Texas and she preceded him in death on June 2, 2007. They moved to Abilene and Bill worked as an aircraft inspector for Automation Industries until 1965 when they returned to Ranger. He worked as a contract pumper for various oilfield companies for 40 years. Bill also farmed and ranched, and he loved to visit.

At the time of his death, Bill was survived by two daughters; Carla Gomez and husband Joe of Granbury, Karen Jernigan and husband Bill of Ranger. Two grandchildren; Stacy Regeon Vann and Robert Bryan Henson. One great grandson Dalton Michael Vann. And his other relative "Pots" his dog.

Bill married Novilla Maxine Edwards, daughter of Henry Clarence Edwards and Virgie Mae Price, on 17 Apr 1955 in Eastland, Eastland County, Texas. (Novilla Maxine Edwards was born on 4 Jul 1935 in Albany, Shackelford County, Texas,⁵ died on 2 Jun 2007 and was buried in Macedonia Cemetery, Stephens County, Texas ⁶.)
