Mrs. Gray Dead
Mrs Clara Gray died at the family home in Santa Anna Monday night and her remains were shipped here on Tuesday evening's train and conveyed to Center City and interred Wednesday morning. Mrs. Gray was the wife of Jim Gray and was reared in the Center City community. She was a daughter of Mr. J. M. Head and had a great many friends and acquaintances in this county who join the Eagle in extending sympathy to the bereaved family.

Clara married James Carson Gray on 6 Dec 1896 in , Mills County, Texas.^{1 2} (James Carson Gray was born on 6 Feb 1876 in Texas,⁴ died on 15 Feb 1968 in Wilmington, Los Angeles County, California and was buried in Tulare Cemetery, Tulare, Tulare County, California ⁹.)
