SAN ANGELO — Sharon Rose Oleson, 69, of San Angelo passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007, at her residence.

Family visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, July 22, at Johnson's Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 23, in Fairmount Cemetery with Jim Benson officiating.

Sharon was born on Oct. 2, 1937, in Lamesa, Texas, to William Cody and Opal Pearl (Powell) Graham. She married Murry Eugene Oleson on Aug. 23, 1954.

Sharon was a volunteer for 16 1/2 years with the Shannon Hospital Auxiliary, instrumental in helping with the gift shop and flower arrangements and serving as the vice president of community services. She also volunteered with Meals for the Elderly.

She was an avid bunco player and attended church at Baptist Temple. Sharon worked in the banking industry prior to her retirement.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Marie Aylor.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Murry Oleson; children, Angie Baker and husband Ken of Fredericksburg, Bo Oleson of Sweetwater, Donna Hudson and husband Lon of Abilene and Kara Oleson of San Angelo; grandchildren Joshua Baker, Cameron Baker, Matthew Hudson, Steven Hudson, Morgan Hudson, Tristan Oleson and Kayla Brown; brother Don Graham and wife JoAnn of San Angelo; sisters Billie Simmons and husband Cecil of San Angelo, Pat Sinclair and husband Waymon of Austin, Peggy Chase of Mobile, Ala., Jody Jett and Maxine Bunyard, both of San Angelo.

The family would like to thank Dr. White and the nursing staff at Shannon ICU and 5 North, along with a special thanks to the Shannon Auxiliary for the love and care given to Sharon during her illness.
