He was survived by one daughter, Sherry Thomasson Deacon, and husband Barry of Jonesboro; one son, David Thomasson, and wife Michelle of Ward; eight grandchildren, Barrett Deacon and wife Casey, Whitney Deacon, Leslie Deacon, Holland Deacon, Stephanie Ramsey and husband, Jeremy, Melissa Sugg and husband, Marcus, Heather Reeder and Jacob Thomasson; six great-grandchildren, Sydney Reeder, Lydia and Luke Ramsey, Kaitlynn and Elijah Sugg, and Alexis Deacon.
