Dohoney was born on 17 Oct 1869 in Texas,^{4 5} died on 22 Feb 1933 in Lubbock, Lubbock County, Texas ⁵ and was buried on 25 Feb 1933 in Forest Park Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas ⁵.). The cause of his death was coronary occlusion.³
