In the name of God, Amen. I Andrew Reitz, of Upper Mahanoy Township, Northumberland County, and State of Pennsylvania, being far advanced in years, but of sound and desposing mind, memory and understanding, Blessed by God for the same, Do make and declare this my last will and testament, in manner and form following to wit:

First and principal of all, I command my immortal soul into the hands of God, who gave it, and my Body to the earth to be decently entered and buried in a Christian like manner, as my Executors shall direct, in humble hope of a glorious Resurrection and a happy admission into the Regions of immortal Bliss and Glory in an through merits of my Mediator and Redeemer Jesus Christ.

And as to such worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me with in this life, I do give, devise and dispose of the same in the following manner to wit:

Item. It is my will, and I do order and direct, that after my Death, my Executors shall sell all my land, goods and chattels and every thing at public vendue, and divide the money among all my children, share and share alike, namely: Jacob, Maria Elizabeth, Margareth, Nicholas, Catherine, Eve, Juliana, Susanna Lydia, John and Philip.

The land my Executors shall sell at public or private sale, so as they can sell it best, and if they can't sell all the land and plantation together, they shall then sell it in pieces, so as to suit purchasers best. And such Deed or deeds given by my executors, I acknowledge to be as good and lawful as if they same had been executed in my own person. My two sons, Jacob and Nicholas has each of them received by me three hundred dollars, for which I have their notes, and so has my Daughter Maria Elizabeth, got one hundred dollars, which my Executors shall first deduct from their share or portion, and the remainder, if any shall be paid over to them by my executors.

And lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint my beloving son Philip Reitz and my son in law Michael Smith to be my executors of this my last will and testament, revoking all former wills, by me made, and declaring this and no other to be and contain my last will and testament.

In witness whereof I Andrew Reitz, have hereunto set my hand and seal this 22nd August A.D. 1835.

Signed, sealed, published and
declared, by the said Andrew
Reitz, as his last will and Andreas Reitz (seal)
