At the time of the 1930 census, Arthur was farming a general farm in Wilbarger County, Texas. He rented his home on the farm. He had married at 19. He gave his parents' birthplace as Texas.
(There were no other Krieg's in Wilbarger County except Arthur and his wife's sister's husband Ernest who was his brother. The brother gave the parent's birthplace as Switzerland. I checked the state and found a concentration of Krieg's in Williamson County where Olga and her family were living in 1920. All close to their age were either born in Switzerland or have parents born in Switzerland so I think the information listed for Arthur's parents was wrong.--Rose Lee Wall 2009)
