  General Notes:

Ruth's father, Edward Dyton Farish, was born in Arkansas. Her mother, Josephine Aldora Morgan, were born in Alabama (given in 1900) or Georgia (given in 1910). At the time of the 1900 census, the family lived in Gainsboro, Independence County, Arkansas, where her father farmed. Ruth's full siblings were Hershell L. and Josaphine L. Her half siblings were Sarabelle, William G., Stephen D. L., and Eiller S. F. In 1910 the family was living in Noble, Cleveland County, Oklahoma, where her father was a preacher. A new brother was Everett W. In 1930 Ruth was working as a saleslady in a ladies clothing store.
