Alton Jerome Fojtasek Sr

   Cause of his death was brain aneurysm.

  General Notes:

Alton's parents were Emil Rodulph Fojtasek and Hermina Vlasta Schiller. His mother always went by Minnie, the American version of the Czeck name, Hermina. (and that is what was shown on Alton's birth certificate) Alton's paternal grandfather came over from Czechoslovakia when he was 15 with his father, mother, aunt and 13 siblings. One brother was left there because they couldn't find him when the time came for them to leave. Alton didn't speak English until he began school. Unfortunately, he never taught his children the language.

  Medical Notes:

A first cousin and an aunt also died from brain aneurysm.

Alton married Donna Gale Sparkman, daughter of Willie Moseley Sparkman Sr and Sadie Ozella Head.
