He had a wife and child. He claimed an exemption to support his family and his father and mother. At the time of the 1920 census, he was a farm laborer in Johnson County, Texas. He lived next to his parents. At the time of the 1930 census, Edgar was a laborer doing odd jobs. He rented his home in Tarrant County, Texas, for $15 a month. His last residence was a farm near Azle in Parker County, Texas. Social Security had his mailing address as Azle, Tarrant County, Texas. He was a retired machinist for C. F. Adams Company. His wife was the informant on the death certificate.
