R. W. Geeslin, son of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Geeslin, Sr., was born in Arkansas January 9, 1868 and died December 30, 1927. He married Miss Ella Queen in 1893. To this union was born nine children, all of whom are living. They are three girls and six boys: Mrs. Eva Soules of Goldthwaite and Mark Geeslin of Stephenville, Mrs. Lois Culpa of Roscoe. The remaining six are unmarried. They are John, Ben, Clemie, R. F., Erie, and Deleon. They live with their mother near Goldthwaite.

R. W. Geeslin was converted at the age of 21, was a member of the Methodist church and lived a consistent, faithful Christian life until God called him from the walks of man. Mr. Geeslin during his life, maintained an enviable reputation as a man of high integrity. The influence of a good, Christian father, so lovingly felt by his children during his lifetime, will continue through the years to come. To credit of both father and mother we will state that every one of their children have professed faith in Christ and we trust are living consecrated lives to the Master's service and may they be supported by the Spirit of all consolation and strengthened to walk in the paths of righteousness, and at last be received to join him on the everlasting habitation. Of the character of Mr. Geeslin, we need not speak. His record among his loved friends and ones in his home, and also his record is on high. 6
