Leona was the daughter of August Fritz Drueckhammer & Louise Henriette Lippe.

According to her obituary, she married (1) Wilbur H. Putt, 9 Nov 1944, Priddy, TX. After his death in 1981, she married (2) Russell W. Glasgow, 11 Oct 1986, Port Matilda, PA. Russell died in 2000.

Her obituary in the "Centre Daily Times" includes the following: "She is survived by three daughters, Betty Adams, of Port Matilda, Mary Holmes, of Port Matilda, and Elizabeth Sprankle and husband, Garry, of Spruce Creek; two sons, Edward Putt and wife, Linda, of Olanta, and Kenneth Ewald and wife, Beverly, of Spring Branch, TX; a step-son, Robert Glasgow, of Leesburg, VA."

Note that while her obituary indicates she was born at Priddy, TX, her birth certificate shows she was born at Indian Gap., Hamilton Co., TX. Priddy is in Mills Co., TX. Census records show that Leona and her family lived in Mills Co. in 1930 and 1940. Hamilton and Mills are adjoining counties. ¹
