Drucilla's parents were born in Alabama. By the time of the 1900 census, Drucilla had become widowed. She had borne 2 children with both still living. They lived with her father in law, Asa Bynum.

Drucilla married Berry S. Bynum, son of Asa Bynum and Winnie Mae Murphree. (Berry S. Bynum was born on 13 Oct 1867,³ died on 15 Dec 1899 ³ and was buried in Oak Branch Cemetery, Waxahachie, Ellis County, Texas ⁴.)
