I Rosannah D. Stephenson of the County of Maury & State of Tennessee of sound memory & discriminant mind do make disdain(?) & ordain this to be my last will & testament. I give & bequeath to my daughter, the wife of Thomas F. Childress fifty dollars. To my son James G. Stephenson I give & bequeath my carry all. To son William A. Stephenson I have already given fifty dollars which I deem his sufficient portion of my property. To my son John G. Stephenson I have already given fifty dollars which is his full portion of my property. To the children of my daughter Mary A. G. by William Minor, I give & bequeath one dollar, to the children of my daughter Dancy(?) E. by E.Bond I give & bequeath one dollar, to the children of my daughter Cinthey M. by Hollidy McEwen, I give & bequeath one dollar, to the children of my daughter Sarah D. by Samuel B. Patton, I give & bequeath one dollar, to the children of my daughter Margaret B by William Loving, I give & bequeath one dollar, to my daughter Rosannah Stephenson my grandson Daniel Richardson, I give & bequeath the certain balance of my property of using distinction(?) & ????????? consisting of household & kitchen furniture, clothes, chairs, tables, cooking utinsels, stockyard & I appoint my son William A. Stephenson the executor of my last will & testament, a testimony of which I know to affix my signature & seal this 2 day of June and the year 1848. Rosannah D. Rosannah married Capt James W. Stinson Stephenson, son of Robert Stinson Stephenson and Agnes McClelland, in 1765 in Balleymoney, County Antrim, Northern Ireland. (Capt James W. Stinson Stephenson was born in 1746 in Balleymoney, County Antrim, Northern Ireland and died on 8 Oct 1788 in , Chester County, South Carolina.)
