FRANK GEORGE GASS, 89, was born July 7, 1919 in Waukegan, Illinois and passed away on May 3, 2009 in Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank C. Gass and Mary B. Gass. Frank was a long time resident of Meyerland and is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Fay M. Gass; daughter, Kim Knight and husband George (Joe); son, Leroy (Lee) Gass and wife Mary; grandchildren, Kelly Battaglia and Mitchell Gass; three great-grandchildren, Evan, Courtney, and Colin Battaglia; two step-grandchildren, Michelle Baker and Kevin Knight; two step-great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Erin Knight; and nephew, Walter Koerth. A Memorial Service to honor Frank's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2009 in the Miller Funeral Chapel, 7723 Beechnut, Houston, Texas, 77074. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the , 2242 W. Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas, 77030-2008.
Frank married Fay Marie Head, daughter of Walter Murble Head and Ollie Vivian Steward.
