Ruth Arlene Wall, 73, of Horseshoe Bay died Jan. 6. Born Dec. 23, 1935 in Virgie, Ky., Ruth was the daughter of Sherman & Nora (Damron) Taylor. She was a baker.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband, Carlyle Wall; daughters Fay Smiga and husband Dennis and Pamela Moore; son Doug Robinson; granddaughters Theresa Gilliland, Laura Rutter, Kimberly Williams; grandsons Keith Smiga, Dusty Robinson, Eric Robinson; seven great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons. She is also survived by her brother John, sisters Minnie and Dorsey, many nieces, nephews and close friends.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, brother Chuck, son Ronald Robinson and son-in-law James Moore.
Funeral service was held Thursday, Jan. 8 at 7 p.m. at Clements-Wilcox Chapel with Bro. Max Copeland officiating. Interment was Friday, Jan. 9 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio. Pallbearers were Keith Smiga, Ben Rutter, Dusty Robinson, Eric Robinson, Gary Taylor, Joe Moore and honorary pallbearer was Richard Fowler.
