General Notes:
He attended Baylor University and later served as a rifle instructor in the U.S. Marine Corps at Paris Island in San Diego, Calif. He was extremely proud of his service to his country. In his later years, G was very active in the Baptist church and in ministries that assisted homeless men in the Fort Worth area.
