Her obituary as transcribed at FindAGrave.com (Denton Record Chronicle, Monday, December 19, 1960:

Mrs. Sudie Algood of 111 Sawyer, a Denton resident for 50 years, died Sunday at 8:15 pm in her home. She was 70.

Mrs. Algood was born in Maypearl and was a member of the Green Valley Methodist Church. She was the widow of F. E. Algood.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Tuesday in the Schmitz Floyd Hamlett Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Green Valley Cemetery north of Denton.

Survivors include one son, Hershel Algood of Denton: two daughters, Mrs. G. A. Lloyd of Denton and Mrs. Bill Tucker of San Antonio: Mrs. W. I. Burrow of Waxahachie; two brothers, Don Jackson of Dallas and John Jackson of Orange Cove, California and one grand child.

Note: I believe Mrs. Burrow must be a sister. This is the way it was in the newspaper.

(Fred Elgin Allgood was born on 23 Mar 1890 in Birmingham, Jefferson County, Alabama, United States,5 6 died on 12 Jul 1928 in Denton, Denton County, Texas 5 7 and was buried in Green Valley Cemetery, Denton County, Texas 5.). The cause of his death was struck by lightening.3
