Johan Jacob Rehrer 1
- Born: 14 Jul 1725, Mauer District, Heidelberg, , Baden-Württemberg, Germany
- Marriage (1): Maria Elizabeth Brosius on 20 Feb 1750 in Atolhoe, , Pennsylvania
General Notes:
John Jacob and John George have birth dates that could have been mixed up in the transposing. John George was noted as age 21, which would have made his birth year, 1725. On the other research from the American LDS file, his birth date is listed as 1723. It seems more likely that 1725, listed on the LDS German file, is Joh George's date. Joh George is listed in the German file with a birth date of January 27, 1723.
Notes for JOHN JACOB ROHRER: There are two Joh Jacob Rohrer, born two different years. One on June 2, 1718 and the other July 14, 1725, in the Mauer District, . Germany. Mother was Maria E. Muller and father Johannes Dieterich Rohrer. Perhaps, one Jacob died earlier, and only the date of the living one was retained on the American LDS file. The info is listed in the German LDS file, and no AFN numbers have been assigned yet. JOHN JACOB ROHRER, b. June 02, 1718, Mauer District, Heidelberg,Baden, Germany; d. 1769, Heidelberg Twp., Lebanon Co., Pa.; m. CATHARINE.
In Rick Hostetter Research is found: Reference: Will Abstracts of Berks Co., Page 49 Mentions brother Gottfried. In Rick's report it also lists the other John Jacob born 1725, wife Maria Elisabeth Brosius as being married to this Jacob, also 20 Feb.1749/50 as noted in Caspar Stoever Marriages. Perhaps these two Jacob's are the same people with different data attached to them.
