![]() General Notes: Hugh's parents were born in Wisconsin. When he registered for the WWI draft on 30 Jun 1917, he was a musician employed by Harris (unclear) Mission Board, M.E. Church, in Key West, Florida. He claimed an exemption because of his dependent wife and child. At the time of the 1920 census, Hugh was a music teacher at a girls school in Pulaski, Giles County, Tenness. He rented his home. When he registered for the WWII draft on 27 Apr 1942, he used the name Judson only. He was self employed and living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His wife, Louise, was his nearest relative. He planned to file form 47 because he was a conscientious objector to war. ![]() Hugh married Lou Etta Brosius, daughter of Dr William Lewis Brosius and Mollie Price, on 24 Aug 1911 in Gallatin, Daviess County, Missouri.1 (Lou Etta Brosius was born on 21 Mar 1883 in Gallatin, Daviess County, Missouri and died on 5 Jun 1967 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.) |
