  General Notes:

Obituary from "The Southern Democrat", Thursday, November 26, 1914:

Mrs. Rilda Armstrong, widow of the late Henry Armstrong died at the home of her son in law, Ben Campbell, near Remlap, early Monday evening. It seems her death was rather sudden and was probably due to heart failure. She has been enjoying reasonably good health until the day before her death. Mrs. Armstrong was one of the old landmarks of this county, having reached the ripe old age of four score years. She lived a useful Christian life and had been a member of the C.P. church for a number of years. Among her surviving children we recall the names of Jesse C. Armstrong, of Venus, Texas, Mrs C. B. Ingram, of Clarendon, Texas, Mrs J. G. Chambers and Mrs. L. L. Wikle, who resides in Madison County, and Mrs. Ben Campbell of Remlap. The remains are being held until the arrival of the relatives and will be interred in Chepultepec cemetery today, Thursday.
