Jan Allison's Gedcom had the name but the wrong dates. She showed him married but also dying at one year of age. By census research, I believe she has his parents wrong also. This Clarence appeared in the 1910 and 1920 census with Robert and Alice Gibbs in Liberty, Blount County, Alabama. Siblings were Harvey, Arney, Hobert, Gordon, and Israel.

At the time of the 1930 census, Clarence was a city postman in Tarrant, Jefferson County, Alabama. He owned his home valued at $2500.
