  General Notes:

At the time of the 1900 and 1910 census, Prior was a farmer in Daileys, Blount County, Alabama. He owned his farm free of mortgage. A boarder in 1910, Pierce Gilliland, was a farm laborer. When Prior registered for the WWI draft on 12 Sep 1918, he was farming in Oneonta, Blount County, Alabama. His wife, Della, was his nearest relative. He was disabled by rheumatism, weak heart and kidney trouble. At the time of the 1920 census, Prior was a general farmer in Daileys. He owned his farm free of mortgage. His sons Claud and Conard were farm laborers. At the time of the 1930 census, he was a general farmer in Daileys. His son Wallace was a farm laborer.
